Destination

Situated 2 miles west of Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan has some of the loveliest beaches and coves in South Wales, lying side by side with unspoilt countryside along most of its 21 miles of coastline. The contrasting character of the four main towns of Barry, Penarth, Cowbridge and Llantwit Major add to the interest of the area.

Shopping

The market town of Cowbridge is known as the Bond Street of Wales, with a wide choice of exclusive shops and boutiques along its pretty High Street. Barry has two main shopping areas, Holton Road and High Street, and is home to a weekly Tuesday street market. Llantwit Major and Penarth combine shopping with quaint surroundings.
